Wernich Consulting is an independent software consultancy run by Wernich Bekker. I work with founders and teams who need someone who can go from a whiteboard sketch to production without a dozen hand-offs in between.

Most of my work sits in one of two places: building products from the ground up, or stepping into something that has stalled. A codebase is hard to change, an architecture will not scale, or a roadmap has lost its shape. The useful move is to make the problem visible and get it moving again.

I am hands-on and pragmatic. I would rather ship a small thing that works than a beautiful plan that never leaves the document. Reliability, performance, cost, and the operational reality after launch are part of the work, not a later concern.
